Songs For A Tailor, the first solo album by Jack Bruce after the breakup of Cream in November 1968, is a masterpiece that stylistically incorporates jazz, folk, classical, and rock influences in an attempt to be diverse and distinct from the music he had previously recorded with Cream. Jack and producer Felix Papalardi participated in the recording sessions at Morgan Studios in London, and were joined by some of the UK's finest musicians, including Chris Spedding, John Heathman, Dick Heckstall-Smith, John Marshall, Art Themen, and Henry Lowther. Some of the best musicians in the U.K. participated, including George Harrison. Some of the sessions included George Harrison.
