Great first production dot stool by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. Together with the grandson of Fritz Hansen, Sren Hansen, Arne Jacobsen developed plywood furniture. This stool was their first collaboration. Although Arne Jacobsen is the designer, this stool would not have been there without the help of Sren. The first version of the stool can be recognized by the brass caps, where the name Dot comes from, with which the seat is attached to the chassis. The seat is made of black lacquered beech plywood. The stool has a diameter of 34 and a height of 45 cm.
