Kashmiri Rogan Josh - serves 2
In addition you will need...
400g diced lamb
100ml water
1 tbsp of oil
Cooking instructions...
Preheat the oven 160C / 140C Fan / Gas 3.
1. Heat the oil in a pan and add the sachet of whole spices. Stir until spices begin to pop.
2. Stir in the lamb and cook until browned, then spoon in the jar of base masala mix and bring to a simmer.
3. Add the cooking sauce and water and bring to the boil. Transfer to an ovenproof casserole dish with a lid and cook in the oven for 90 min.
For a vegetarian option why not try replacing the lamb with aubergine or chickpeas, potato, carrot, red onion and mushrooms.
Finishing touches...
Garnish with natural yogurt and fresh coriander.
Do not reheat.
