General
Yamaha presents the electro-acoustic AC1MII guitar, an evolved steel-string for guitarists who prefer a Concert with an acoustic feel, sound and look. This AC1MII is an innovative version of the popular Yamaha steel-string with a top made of solid Sitka spruce, a set-in neck, back, sides that are all made of mahogany, and a bridge and fretboard made of rosewood. This combination of wood types results in a rich, warm acoustic sound with slightly less low than a Dreadnought but with a creamy accent.
AC1MII: amplification and playability
This Yamaha steel-string is equipped with an SRT pizo pickup and an innovative System72 preamp for transparent and defined amplification. Yamaha is well known for producing guitars that are comfortable to play, and this AC1MII is no exception. Furthermore, the neck has a matte finish that offers a comfortable, worn feel. The neck profile, fretboard radius, string nut width, and scale length of this solid-top Concert guitar is exactly the same as the original model. So if you were a fan of the AC1M, then you'll love the AC1MII!
